Former WWE Star Ruby Riott Reportedly Headed To AEW

Former WWE Star Ruby Riott, who is most popularly known as Heidi Lovelace in the indies, was released by WWE this past June 2 and is under a 90-day non-compete clause with the WWE, which is set to expire on Tuesday, August 31st, which is just a few days prior to the All Out PPV on September 5th. Fightful Select reports that Ruby Riott could be making her way to AEW soon and that she could even show up at All Out.

Ruby Riott noted in an interview that she had no plans of bringing back her old “Heidi Lovelace” name and that she will now be using the “Ruby Soho” name, which was inspired by the 1995 punk rock song of the same name by the band, Rancid, from their “…And Out Come the Wolves” studio album. Soho also took to her Twitter and posted a photo of her new look.

There’s no word yet on when Ruby Soho will make her AEW debut nor has her AEW signing been confirmed, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. If Soho does end up in AEW, then she’ll be a great addition to their women’s division as she is one of the most beloved talents in all of pro wrestling and she has constantly been praised for her work ethic.
