FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood), along with a number of stars recently appeared as guests on Chris Jericho’s Talk Is Jericho podcast to talk about the life and pro wrestling career of Brodie Lee (real name: Jon Huber). According to FTR, Brodie Lee wanted to team up with them to form a new rendition of The Radicalz in AEW.
The original rendition of The Radicalz consisted of stars such as Eddie Guerrero, Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn and Dean Malenko. FTR said that their contracts were coming up, until some things happened and Brodie’s plan as well as their plan was to be The Radicalz in AEW, and that Lee didn’t know about the Dark Order stuff until it was pitched.
This is what Dax Harwood said:
“We had a group text with him, and he said, ‘I want us to be The Radicalz.’ Me, Cash and him, he wanted us to be The Radicalz.” “We had these big, grandiose plans to come in together.”
This is what Cash Wheeler said:
“Our contracts were coming up real soon, until some things happened” “His plan and our plan was to be The Radicalz here.”
This is what Dax Harwood said:
“But he didn’t know about The Dark Order stuff, until it was pitched.”
Wheeler and Harwood then talked about how proud Brodie Lee was of the last run he had in AEW and how it was getting better every week too. Wheeler and Harwood also talked about how this was Brodie Lee’s favorite time in the business and that this was the best work he had ever done, most especially when he won the TNT Title from Cody Rhodes, Brodie Lee could not wait to take the belt home to show little Brodie.
This is what Dax Harwood said:
“Like C.D. said, he was so proud.” “I wish everyone knew how proud he was of this last run he had here.”
This is what Cash Wheeler said:
“It was getting better every week too.” “It’s already the most heartbreaking situation I could possibly imagine but knowing how happy he was and how well things were going for him personally and professionally.”
“It’s easy for people to say, ‘Oh, they’re saying that because they’re with AEW now. I’m telling you as one of my best friends and also a work colleague, this was his favorite time in the business, this was the best work he had ever done and he was so proud of this last run. When he won the belt from Cody [Rhodes], he could not wait to take the belt home to show little Brodie.”
