IMPACT Sacrifice Main Event Setting Up Big Rebellion Matchup

It was noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main event of IMPACT’s Sacrifice PPV will see IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann vs. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Moose in a Title vs. Title Match. This match reportedly already took place during IMPACT’s TV tapings earlier in the month, with Rich Swann winning both championship titles, which means that we could see Swann walk out with both titles once again.

According to Dave Meltzer, the main event set to take place at IMPACT’s Sacrifice could set up a match between Rich Swann and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega at IMPACT’s Rebellion PPV on April 24th. The AEW World Champion cut a promo back in December, wherein he referred to himself as a “belt collector” and that promo could reportedly play into the storyline and match angle.

There was even a hint of the AEW World Champion wrestling at Rebellion since the Rebellion poster has the Greek letter for “omega” in the middle of it.

At last month’s IMPACT Hard To Kill PPV, Kenny Omega and the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers defeated Rich Swann, Moose and Chris Sabin. Omega pinned the IMPACT World Champion after the AEW World Champion nailed him with his one winged angel finisher. Since then, Kenny Omega hasn’t made an appearance for IMPACT Wrestling.
