Ivelisse Says She Has Signed With AEW

During an interview with Pro Wrestling Junkies Monday night, Ivelisse confirmed that she had signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling. AEW has yet to confirm the signing officially.

The former Lucha Underground star did not provide any specific details about the contract. She did get the okay from All Elite Wrestling to confirm the news if asked about it.

Ivelisse felt overwhelmed to get the offer the same week when she lost her home in a fire. Last month, she tweeted about the fire, so that means she has been under contract with AEW for a month.

Ivelisse worked her first match in AEW back in July, where she lost to Diamante. She would later team up with Diamante in the first Women’s Tag Team Cup. The duo won the tournament with a finals victory over Allie and Brandi Rhodes.

Since then, she has beaten KiLynn King and also lost to NWA Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa. Fans watching that match thought Ivelisse worked a bit stiff.

Her last appearance on AEW TV came on September 23rd on Dynamite when she teamed up with Diamante to take on Rosa and AEW Women’s Champion Hikaru Shida. They lost that match.

Ivelisse worked for WWE after appearing on the 2011 WWE Tough Enough season. She was with WWE developmental for two years. She currently holds the SHINE Championship and was a previous Lucha Underground Trios Champion. She also had a stint with Impact Wrestling.
