Jake Hager, has competed three times for Bellator MMA within 10 months. His fight Friday night against Anthony Garret at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut did not last long and did not come off good for the AEW star.
Hager vs Garret opened the card but was called at 1:56 in the first round. His fight ended after two accidental groin hits in the first round. The fight was declared a no-contest after Garrett could not continue. After the fight, Hager told the media he felt Garret wanted out of the fight and used the low blows to his advantage. See for yourself
Hager was looking to improve his record the 3 – 0. His MMA career started with a pair of first-round arm-triangle choke wins against J.W. Kiser and T.J. Jones. He will not compete again for Bellator until 2020.
