Jericho Returns At NJPW Power Struggle, Makes WK14 Challenge

At this past Sunday night’s NJPW Power Struggle Event, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho appeared on the big screen and challenged “The Ace Of NJPW” Hiroshi Tanahashi to a one-on-one match at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 15 Event on Sunday, January 5th in Tokyo, Japan. After the challenge was made, via the big screen, Hiroshi Tanahashi agreed to the match.

Jericho being the AEW World Champion was not mentioned, nor was his title belt shown, but his contract with AEW permits him to compete for NJPW. His last appearance for NJPW was at Dominion this past June when he lost to “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada.
