Jon Moxley Pulled From NJPW Battle In The Valley Event

An announcement was recently made by NJPW that AEW Star Jon Moxley has been pulled from the company’s upcoming Battle In The Valley Event and that Will Ospreay will be taking his place. The reason behind this is due to both AEW’s Full Gear PPV and NJPW’s Battle In The Valley taking place on the same day, which is on Saturday, November 13th.

All Elite Wrestling’s Full Gear PPV was originally set to take place on Saturday, November 6th inside Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, but Dave Meltzer reported on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Full Gear will now be taking place one week later, which is November 13th as AEW would have faced strong competition from the UFC’s 268 Event at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman is set to face Colby Covington in a rematch.

NJPW will be having their Battle In The Valley Event on Saturday, November 13 from the San Jose Civic Center in San Jose, California, with a start time of 11AM ET, while AEW will also be holding the Full Gear PPV Event on November 13 from the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota area, with the pre-show likely to begin at 7PM ET and the main show likely to begin at 8PM ET.

Other stars that have been announced for NJPW’s Battle In The Valley Event include Filthy Tom Lawlor, Tomohiro Ishii and Jay White.
