Kris Statlander’s Opponent For Her In-Ring Return Revealed

As previously reported, AEW Women’s Division Star Kris Statlander will make her in-ring return during tonight’s episode of Dynamite, but an opponent was not named at the time. AEW recently announced that Statlander will be facing Amber Nova in a Singles Match when she makes her return to in-ring action.

This will reportedly be Statlander’s first official match since the June 10, 2020 episode of Dynamite when she sustained a torn ACL after hitting Kip Sabian with a dive to the outside during her Tag Team Match with AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida against Nyla Rose and Penelope Ford.

Statlander initially made her return during the Arcade Anarchy Match on the March 31 Dynamite episode where Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy took on Sabian and Miro. Statlander took out Penelope Ford when she put Ford through a table.
