Kylie Rae’s Return Match Against Thunder Rosa Rescheduled

A huge announcement was made this past month by Warrior Wrestling, which is a pro wrestling promotion based out of Chicago, that Kylie Rae will be making her in-ring return against AEW/NWA talent Thunder Rosa and that she would be defending her Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title against Thunder on Saturday, June 5th at the promotion’s first-ever Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series Event.

In an update provided by Fightful Select, Warrior Wrestling has now confirmed that the match has been rescheduled for their third Warrior Wrestling Stadium Series Event on Saturday, August 21st. Fightful Select reports that the reason for the match being postponed was due to Thunder Rosa’s obligations to the NWA, but instead of getting a replacement for Rosa, Warrior Wrestling just decided to postpone it until they could get a clear schedule for both competitors to book the match.

Kylie Rae won the Warrior Wrestling Women’s Title from Tessa Blanchard last September 12th, 2020, but she hasn’t defended the title since September 26th when she defeated Madison Rayne. Kylie revealed in November of last year that she was going on a hiatus from professional wrestling and social media, so this will be her return match and her first match since October of last year.
