Lana On Rumors She’s Being Punished Due To Miro’s AEW Debut

Miro (F.K.A Rusev in WWE) made his All Elite Wrestling debut a number of months ago during an episode of Dynamite when Kip Sabian revealed Miro to be his best man at his wedding with Penelope Ford.

Miro would then cut a promo, saying that he has been in the same house (the WWE) for ten years and that he never broke through the glass ceiling. Miro also said that his former boss (WWE Owner Vince McMahon) can take the famous “brass ring” and shove that brass ring up his ass.

The following week on Monday Night RAW, Miro’s real-life wife, WWE Star Lana, was put through a table by Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax. Lana would then be put through a table for the next eight weeks and it was speculated that Lana was being punished due to her husband, former WWE Star Rusev and current AEW Star Miro making his debut for All Elite Wrestling and the promo he cut during his debut.

Current AEW Star Miro said in an interview that he is concerned that Lana is being punished, but that he was very proud of her for continuing to do her job.

WWE Superstar Lana recently spoke with The New York Post to talk about her storyline with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler and to shed some light on the rumors that she’s being punished due to her husband, AEW Star Miro.

Despite everyone’s concerns that she is being punished, Lana said to be having a storyline where she is competing in the ring fighting is something she is very, very grateful for.

According to Lana, there’s been a lot of ups and downs in this story that have been hard pills to swallow, but she has been in WWE for seven years and she has survived this business.

This is what Lana said:

“For me, to be having a storyline where I’m competing in the ring fighting, that is something I am very, very grateful for. There have been a lot of ups and downs in this story that have been hard pills to swallow, but I’ve been here for seven years and I have survived this business, all the steamrolls, and all the different crazy curve balls they have thrown here [WWE].”

Even though a lot of negativity was thrown on Lana, she saw the light at the end of the tunnel and at Survivor Series, she became the sole survivor of the Women’s Survivor Series Traditional 5-on-5 Match and won the match for the Women’s Survivor Series RAW Team.

Lana would then beat Nia Jax in a Singles Match on RAW the next night, but was destroyed by Jax and Baszler after the match and was pulled from the TLC PPV as a result.

Lana said that she has outlasted so many people in WWE that they are not going to kick her out. Lana also said it has always been her determination not to quit, to keep going and to find a way no matter what.

This is what Lana said:

“I’ve outlasted so many people here.” “You’re not going to kick me out. And I don’t know, maybe it’s just determination. I think a lot of things–I really haven’t been best at anything in my life. It’s always been determination not to quit, to keep going to find a way no matter what.”
