Latest On When Eddie Kingston Is Expected To Make His Return

PWInsider.com previously reported that Eddie Kingston suffered an injury during the company’s tapings this past month at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and will have to miss a few weeks of action. Eddie Kingston has recently been involved in a storyline with the Inner Circle’s Chris Jericho, Ortiz and Santana as they worked together to battle common enemies in 2Point0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee) as well as Daniel Garcia, but tensions have also been at an all-time high between Chris Jericho of Inner Circle and Eddie Kingston and we may even see the Inner Circle disband after their scheduled match on Dynamite next week.

Dave Meltzer reported on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Eddie Kingston is expected to return to in-ring action next week, but there was no mention on if he has officially been cleared to return and if he will be making his return on Dynamite or Rampage. Eddie last competed for AEW on the January 11th episode of Dark, when he defeated Joey Janela in Singles action. Due to Eddie Kingston’s injury, his match against AJ Gray at The Wrld On GCW Event last month from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City did not take place.
