Maki Itoh To Return To Japan, Says Goodbye To AEW Fans

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling Star Maki Itoh recently took to Twitter and revealed that she is going back to her home country of Japan. Itoh also said that she can only speak Makiglish, but everyone was kind to her and she was very happy. Itoh then said she is sorry as the next schedule has not been decided, but she hopes she can meet the fans again.

This is what Maki Itoh said:

“I’m going back to Japan! I can only speak Makiglish but everyone was kind and I was very happy. Do you want to see me again? I’m sorry, the next schedule has not been decided. But I hope we can meet again! Thank you f–k you all #AEW.”

Maki Itoh initially took part in the AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament, where Itoh lost a first round matchup to Ryo Mizunami. Itoh then competed at AEW’s Revolution PPV, where she and Dr. Britt Baker defeated Riho and Thunder Rosa in Women’s Division Tag Team action. She then competed during the premiere episode of AEW Dark: Elevation, losing to Riho in Women’s Division Singles action to end her brief tenure with AEW.
