Matt Sydal Is Now All Elite, Signs With AEW

Matt Sydal is now officially All Elite.

Sydal has appeared on All Elite Wrestling since his debut at AEW All Out this year. He was a surprise entrant in the AEW Casino Battle Royale and worked primarily on AEW Dark and a handful of Dynamite shows. He wasn’t under contract with AEW and was working some Ring Of Honor dates.

Sydal wrapped up with Ring Of Honor in October at their TV tapings.

WWE fans remember Sydal under this former ring name Evan Bourne, winning the WWE Tag Team Championship in 2011 with Kofi Kingston.

Sydal had been a mainstay on the independent wrestling scene, as well as working for ROH, IMPACT Wrestling, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling.  He has held tag belts in ROH (with Christopher Daniels). He also won the IMPACT Grand Championship and X Division belt.
