Moxley To Defend IWGP US Title Against NJPW Star On Dynamite

It was recently announced by AEW that top AEW Star Jon Moxley, who is the current IWGP U.S. Champion, is set to defend his IWGP U.S. Championship against top NJPW Star Yuji Nagata on the May 12th edition of AEW Dynamite. Moxley last defended his IWGP U.S. Title against NJPW Star KENTA this past February, in a match he came out of victorious.

Yuji Nagata is one of the most successful stars in NJPW’s history as he has won a number of titles in the company, including the IWGP World Heavyweight Title on two occasions, along with the G1 Climax in 2001. This will be the first time Moxley and Nagata will face each other in the ring.
