WWE has released several legends and veterans a few weeks ago that we could see end up in AEW and the fans would really love to have them show up in All Elite Wrestling as well. AEW CEO Tony Khan took to his official Twitter (X) account and revealed that the company has come to terms on a deal with a top wrestler who is respected by virtually every AEW fan and this person will even appear at Full Gear to sign their contract with the promotion.
No further details were provided as to who this wrestler could be, but it’s highly doubtful that this is someone like Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali or Shelton Benjamin because their 90-day non-compete would only end late next month, so they can only sign with AEW early January. There is also a possibilty we could see Mercedes Moné (F.K.A. Sasha Banks in the WWE) show up this Saturday at Full Gear and be the top star signing a contract with AEW.
