Ruby Soho On AEW’s Unrestricted, Talks AEW Debut, Tony Khan & More

Ruby Soho joins Tony Schiavone and Aubrey Edwards on the latest edition of the AEW Unrestricted Podcast.

Soho shares some great stories about making her AEW debut at ALL OUT on the same night as Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, including what Tony Khan said to her just before her entrance and the very real moment she had in the ring with AEW referee Bryce Remsburg.

She remembers her favorite moments from her main event match versus Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. during AEW DYNAMITE Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium, and she explains how a friendship with Rancid’s Lars Frederiksen inspired her Ruby Soho character and music.

Ruby speaks to the importance of the TBS Championship Tournament, the camaraderie and respect in the AEW women’s locker room, and her goals for the next year. Plus, Ruby answers fan questions about her hairless cat Bambi, her love of Sheetz, and staying true to the most authentic version of herself.

On her AEW debut:

“My favorite part I will remember forever is Tony Khan—from behind the screen—as soon as he hears it, goes, ‘Let’s go!!!’ and screams at the top of his lungs. It was awesome because I was just like, ‘That’s my boss, and he’s so behind me right now.’”
