Sammy Guevara Makes His Return On Last Night’s Dynamite

The main event of last night’s episode of Dynamite saw the much-anticipated return of “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara following AEW suspending him due to the controversial comments he made about WWE Superstar Sasha Banks back in 2016.

The main event featured Inner Circle (Chris Jericho and Jake Hager) taking on Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy) in Tag Team action.

As the main event was coming to a close, Luchasaurus tried to chokeslam Chris Jericho, but an indie wrestler named Serpentico jumped on the apron and smacked Luchasaurus on the back with Chris Jericho’s baseball bat. Jericho would then hit Luchasaurus with his codebreaker finisher for the pinfall victory.

After the match concluded, The Inner Circle continued to lay waste to Jurassic Express and Serpentico suddenly unmasked himself to reveal that he was actually Sammy Guevara. The top AEW Star had been away for the past month, undergoing sensitivity training. His salary for that time was reportedly donated to the Women’s Center of Jacksonville, Florida.

As previously reported, a massive 10-Man Tag Team Match was announced between Inner Circle vs. Orange Cassidy, Best Friends and Luchasaurus for next week’s Dynamite.
