Snoop Dogg To Do Commentary For Upcoming Dynamite Appearance

For the past few weeks, AEW has been having one iconic and history-making moment after the other with Kenny Omega becoming the brand-new AEW World Champion to the return of one of the most iconic legends in all of pro wrestling Sting to an appearance by NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal.

But that doesn’t end there as an announcement was made by All Elite Wrestling on last week’s Dynamite that legendary hip-hop music icon Snoop Dogg will be appearing as a special guest on the promotion’s January 6th New Year’s Smash special, which is the second night of AEW’s New Year’s Smash special and one night prior to Snoop Dogg’s premiere of the TBS series the “Go Big Show,” which he co-hosts with All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

A fan would then take to Twitter and ask Dave Meltzer what Snoop will be doing on this Dynamite show, to which he responded with “commentary.” AEW is reportedly taking advantage of the buzz he generated as part of the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. boxing PPV last month.

Snoop Dogg provided commentary for the Tyson vs. Jones fight as well as the Jake Paul vs. Nate Robinson fight, to which he received high praises for.
