Working Plans For Mercedes Moné In AEW Have Been Dropped

Former WWE Superstar Mercedes Moné (Sasha Banks) was shown on camera as part of the audience at AEW’s All In London PPV Event this past August 27 from Wembley Stadium and it was expected that she will be making her debut for All Elite Wrestling once she has been medically cleared to return from inury. It was even expected that Moné would have debuted for AEW during the Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite, which took place from the TD Garden in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts if she was not injured.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the working plans that AEW had for Mercedes Moné have been dropped and there is no truth to the story that Moné wanted big money to return to the WWE as no talks of that sort ever took place. Prior to suffering an injury, Mercedes Moné signed for more dates with NJPW.
