WWE Hall Of Famer Alundra Blayze (Madusa) Teases Move To AEW

WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze (Madusa) recently teased joining AEW’s women division following an interaction with a fan on Twitter. The former WCW/WWF star last wrestled in the battle royale at WWE Evolution in 2018.

Blayze would follow in the footsteps of Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Billy Gunn, DDP, and Jake Roberts. Joining AEW after being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Her last singles match was in September 2000 on WCW Nitro against Torrie Wilson.

After Blayze teased getting back into the ring, the tweet was responded to by former AEW Women’s Champion Nyla Rose. She seems to want to see the former Madusa in an AEW ring or in some capacity with the promotion.

As of this writing, there has been no indication of talks between AEW and Blayze. There is also no word on if she even wants to step back into the ring.

In recent months, we’ve seen AEW bring on legends like Taz, Roberts, and Anderson as managers for younger talent. Perhaps they could work something similar out with Madusa and a manager of a younger talent they want to put over, like an Anna Jay.
