AEW TV RATINGS: Dynamite Finishes 19th, NXT 56th, October 7th, 2020

Ratings for the Wednesday, October 7th, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released Thursday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 19th overall for the night.

Dynamite drew 753,000 viewers down from last week’s 866,000 viewers. They finished 12th overall last week. Dynamite was live this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It featured the Chris Jericho 30 Anniversary celebration and Dog Collar match between Mr. Brodie Lee and Cody for the TNT Championship.

NXT drew 639,000 viewers way down from last week’s 732,000 viewers. It finished 56th overall, last week they finished 50th. The show featured Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez vs. Rhea Ripley and Ember Moon.

The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was up to 1.392 million viewers. It was at 1.598 million total viewers last week.

Based on the ratings, the Vice Presidential debates dominated the night. The MLB playoffs was the only non-news program to crack the top 15 at #11 and #12. In the 50 + demo AEW was 0.26. You know they were watching the debates. AEW’s number should bounce back next week with a big 1 Year Anniversary show planned.

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.31/ NXT: 0.16
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.21
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.41
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.18
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.16
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.15
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.35
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.26
