AEW TV RATINGS: Dynamite Finishes 3rd, NXT 31st, September 16th, 2020

Ratings for the Wednesday, September 16, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite were released Thursday. According to a report by Showbuzz Daily, AEW finishing 3rd overall for the night.

Dynamite drew 886,000 viewers way down from last week’s 1,016,000 viewers. They finished 7th overall last week. Dynamite was taped this week at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville Florida. It featured the Parking Lot Fight main event.

NXT drew 689,000 viewers way down from last week’s 838,000 viewers. It finished 31st overall. This is the first time both shows went head to head in weeks. The show featured an NXT North American Championship match with Damian Priest beating Timothy Thatcher.

The total combined wrestling audience for both shows was up to 1.575 million viewers. It was at 1.411 million viewers the last time these two shows went head to head.

Based on the ratings, there were no sports on for the night. Only six news shows finished in the top 15. Real Housewives won the night with cable news and AEW Dynamite making up the rest of the top 5. In the 50 + demo most of them watch the news, a lot of them watch the news.

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.34/ NXT: 0.18
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.23
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.46
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.24
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.15
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.26
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.38
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.32
