Major updates to Friday Night Heat

More match announcements, food drive set for Niagara Falls event

There are several updates regarding the next Empire State Wrestling event Friday Night Heat on June 23 at the Frontier Fire Hall (2176 Liberty Drive, Niagara Falls, N.Y.). Several new matches were added to Friday Night Heat, a non-perishable food drive will be held and a major change will be made to a previously announced match.

Additional match announcements for Friday Night Heat include:

  • “Red Hot” Vinnie Moon versus Edge of Hope’s Darren Crowe
  • “The Good Looking God” Sebastian Braun versus “Rock Star” Robby Vegas
  • Edge of Hope’s Jeremiah Richter versus CXR’s Chael Connors

A non-perishable food drive will be held at Friday Night Heat. ESW is asking fans to bring canned, jarred and boxed food and grocery items which will be distributed across the City of North Tonawanda at locations operated by The Free Little Pantry: North Tonawanda.

Do to unexpected headwinds, Scotty 2 Hotty will no longer be in action at Friday Night Heat. He will appear at a future 2023 ESW event, with the date being released within the next few weeks. His opponent, “The Inspiration” Gregory Iron, will face a new competitor at Friday Night Heat.

Only two front row tickets remain available at the pre-sale price of $35 and can be purchased at ESWTIX.com where service fees apply. Ticket prices increase by $5 on event day.

Pro wrestling legends Kevin Nash, X-Pac, The Hurricane, D-Von Dudley, Al Snow, The Honky Tonk Man, Sgt. Slaughter, Raven, Brutus Beefcake, Demolition, Jim Duggan, Koko B. Ware, Bushwacker Luke, The Sandman and Bob Holly appeared at previous ESW events

Founded in 2002, ESW is run by Brett Stymus. Over half of ESW’s performers reside in the Western New York area. ESW runs regular shows throughout the year that draw several hundred fans, with some events being attended by up to 1,000 people.
