Bray Wyatt arrived on WWE Friday Night SmackDown today to “make an apology.”
Wyatt stated that he wanted to apologize to LA Knight since he deviated from his path in a time of weakness. Knight stated that he may have gained some respect since he demonstrated that he did not fear Wyatt.
Knight entered the ring and teased shaking Wyatt’s hand before slapping him across the face. Knight stated that they had reached an agreement and could now go their own ways. Wyatt agreed and extended his hand in greeting, but Knight smacked him again. The section finished with the camera focusing on Wyatt, who had wide eyes as the broadcasters discussed how unstable he is.
The segment started and ended well as the fans were involved in what was about to happen during the show-off between two superstars that are doing well for themselves. The work would have been better if the two would have mended fences and called a truce.
Contrary to it, Knight slapped Wyatt twice in two weeks, and this led to something unimaginable for Knight. Whether that has anything to do with the attack in the two weeks or not is something we would learn in the foreseeable future.
