Huge Title Match Announced For WWE’s Superstar Spectacle

WWE will be returning to India tomorrow, September 8 from the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium (Gachibowli Indoor Stadium) in Hyderabad, India for an event known as Superstar Spectacle, which is the company’s first live event in India since 2017. It would later be revealed that the show will feature a massive appearance by none other than 16-time World Champion and WWE legend John Cena, who will appear in the country for the very first time and team up with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins to face Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in Tag Team action.

The company recently announced that tomorrow’s WWE Superstar Spectacle will also feature a huge title match, where WWE Women’s World Champion “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day will put her WWE Women’s World Title on the line against WWE veteran Natalya following her successful title defense over Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Payback.

The 2023 WWE Superstar Spectacle Event will only be aired in India via Sony Six and not on Peacock or the WWE Network and this show will only have a setup of 3500-4000 fans in attendance as this event is not about drawing a big crowd, but about the WWE’s business partners bringing the promotion in India. India is reportedly the WWE’s second biggest television revenue stream ever, behind the United States and the country even makes more money on television than Canada and the U.K.

Another matchup already announced for the show includes Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn facing Indus Sher’s Sanga and Veer Mahaan in Tag Team action.
