Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler’s Departure from WWE – The End for The Dyad?

Hot off the press, Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler, better known as ‘The Dyad’ in the WWE, have officially parted ways with the company. The news comes as a twist in the tale as the pair had expressed their desire to leave back in April but were initially denied.

The announcement hit the limelight during a casual discussion on Booker T’s podcast, ‘The Hall of Fame’. Booker T, an NXT commentator for WWE, shed light on the departure of The Dyad during a segment in which he discussed the potential shift of Jade Cargill from AEW to WWE.

Booker T left fans speculating, adding, “A couple of guys who just exited from WWE as well, The Dyad. Those guys just let their contract run out; they’re going to be leaving the company. They may be showing up in AEW, you never know. They may be going back to the U.K.”

Reid and Fowler, previous members of the Grizzled Young Veterans, were unequivocally two of Booker T’s favorites. There is a known sense of regret with their departure, as many acknowledged their immense talent and potential, “I thought they had something good going for them … I liked those guys and I hate to see them go,” added the wrestling pundit.

The plan originally was for the pair, previously known as James Drake and Zack Gibson in their professional wrestling careers, to exit WWE through an engaging angle on NXT TV. However, their sudden departure was nonchalantly addressed in a recent Tuesday NXT show as co-stars Joe Gacy and Ava metaphorically referred to their exit by saying, “their tree was dying and they now stand alone”.

Stay tuned for more updates on the dystopian tale of The Dyad’s departure and their potential future undertakings after their sudden exit from WWE. As the wrestling world adjusts to this significant change, speculation continues about The Dyad’s plans, with mentions of potential returns to the UK or a possible move to the AEW.
