Original Idea For The Build To Logan Paul’s WWE SummerSlam Match

WWE Superstar and social media megastar Logan Paul is reportedly scheduled to compete at the 2023 WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event after being a part of this year’s Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, which was ultimately won by Damian Priest, but there was no word on who Logan will be battling at WWE SummerSlam heading into RAW this past Monday night.

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that Logan Paul is set to face WWE RAW Star Ricochet in a Singles Match at SummerSlam and that is the reason why WWE shot an angle shortly following this past Saturday’s Money in the Bank Premium Live Event of the two going at it. Meltzer also noted that the original idea for the build to Logan Paul and Ricochet’s match at WWE SummerSlam in August was for them to have a viral moment with the Spanish Fly spot through the tables at Saturday’s Money in the Bank, but that didn’t as smooth as they wanted due to the botched spot, so WWE will be shooting an angle this coming Monday night on RAW to lead to the match.
