There’s no denying Roman Reigns’ body of work in WWE, particularly over the last two years as Head of the Table and current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. Even so, The Bloodline’s leader can’t always handle business on his own, demonstrating how impressive the faction has been.
Recently, segments involving Reigns and his family have sparked controversy in the wrestling world, and the Tribal Chief points to one man in particular who has recently brought something entirely new to the table.
In an exclusive interview with The Ringer, the WWE Universal Champion had some words for one member of the Bloodline. It’s none other than the Honorary Uce, who kept things amazing and made the storyline better.
I mean, look at Sami. He unlocked a different door, which allows us to showcase different layers.
In recent weeks, the Honorary Uce has made quite a stir in the WWE Universe, with “We Want Sami” chants filling arenas when he isn’t present — not to mention Zayn’s coining of the term “Ucey.” All of these small moments have added multiple layers to The Bloodline, even if they have frequently come at the expense of Jey Use. However, Reigns recognizes that Zayn’s current persona benefits all parties.
He gives us something completely different to play off of, and vice versa, for Sami to be at the cool-kid table, in the cool clique. Being able to showcase that story, that’s what makes us next level. Who would’ve thought ‘Ucey’ would be a thing? But over 12 million people on social media made it a thing, and that’s the type of power we have.
Roman Reigns and The Bloodline faceoff in a WarGames match against The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens. The match takes place at Survivor Series on November 26th at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
