Roman Reigns Reaches An Incredible Championship Milestone

Reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is considered by many as one of the greatest, if not the greatest WWE Superstar in the modern era, possibly even of all time. Reigns became the WWE Universal Champion at the WWE Payback Event in August 2020 and has held on to the title since. Reigns would then go on to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and hold on to both championships at last year’s WrestleMania 38, when he defeated then-WWE Champion “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar in what was dubbed as “The Greatest WrestleMania Match Of All Time.”

The Tribal Chief has held the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship for over three years as of August 30, 2023, which is a massive milestone Reigns recently added to his already impressive and monumental championship run as well as his wrestling career and once he decides to retire from the pro wrestling business, he will surely become a WWE Hall of Famer. This is something that hasn’t been done for over 35 years.

Since capturing the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, Reigns has defeated a who’s who of legends and Hall of Famers such as John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Cesaro, Finn Balor, Goldberg, Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle. Roman Reigns last defended his title against Jey Uso at the 2023 WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event earlier this month and thanks to an outside assisstance from Jimmy Uso, The Tribal Chief still walked out of the match the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
