Prior to the main event of this past Saturday night’s WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event, Ronda Rousey came up short in her quest to regain the WWE SmackDown Women’s Title when she challenged reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. Ronda Rousey did not take her loss well as she attacked Morgan and WWE official Dan Engler immediately following the match. Ronda Rousey didn’t handle the situation well even though she had a legitimate argument of why she did what she did when her shoulder was down and WWE official Dan Engler counted 1-2-3 despite Morgan submitting right before the three count.
As a result of Rousey’s actions, WWE has announced a storyline fine and suspension for the former WWE SmackDown and RAW Women’s Champion. Due to the suspension, Ronda is not scheduled to appear on Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown and there is no word yet on how long The Baddest Woman On The Planet will be out of the storylines.
