WWE Superstar The Miz Takes Note Of A Record 70,000 Booing Him

It’s a sight to behold! During an NFL game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Las Vegas Raiders, 70,000 people booed WWE two-time Grand Slam Champion The Miz. It’s not a sight you often see on any event.

The A-Lister has spent the majority of his WWE career as one of the roster’s most despised superstars. The Awesome One makes it easy for fans to dislike him with his arrogant demeanour and shady ring tactics.

Today was another occasion when the former WWE Champion executed a textbook move during an NFL game. The Miz is a huge Los Angeles Rams fan, but he was a little too smug with his support for the massive crowd.

During a match promoting WrestleMania Hollywood, the eight-time Intercontinental Champion cut a promo about the Las Vegas Raiders and their fans. The former WWE Champion was booed by the crowd, prompting him to take to Twitter.

70,000 people boo’ing, sounds like we’re ready for #WrestleMania

While The A-Lister has previously worked as a face, it is impossible to deny that the former WWE champion is a far more powerful, if not the best, heel. The Miz has enjoyed being booed by fans before, and he took the negative reactions as a compliment.

On The Rich Eisen Show, the two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion spoke with NFL anchor Rich Eisen. He discussed how fans perceive him and how he finds their reactions endearing. He has always found a way to turn those chants around.

The WWE Universe, our fans would not call me a gentleman. They would say I’m arrogant, egotistical, and the worst person in the world. Like when I walk out into the ring, people are booing me, chanting, ‘you suck.’ And that’s a compliment to me

The former WWE Champion has outperformed everyone’s expectations of what it takes to be a heel in the company. Any heel’s goal in wrestling is to make the audience hate and despise them as much as possible.
