Abadon Likely New Challenger To AEW Women’s Champion Shida

During this past Wednesday’s Dynamite, AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida successfully retained her AEW Women’s World Title against Dark Order’s Anna Jay via pinfall.

Immediately following the AEW Women’s World Title Match, Hikaru Shida would go ahead and celebrate her hard-fought victory, only to be interrupted and met on the stage by Abadon.

Abadon would then crawl her way to the AEW Women’s World Champion with blood dripping from her mouth. This would then cause Shida to fall down and drop her title.

Abadon would then pick up Shida’s World title and lick it, leaving a bloody mark on the title. An AEW Women’s World Title Match between Shida and Abadon has yet to be officially announced, but it is more than likely these two will meet sooner rather than later for the championship.

It looks like Abadon will be stalking Shida for the next several weeks.

Abadon has been off of AEW TV since getting hit with an elbow to her throat in a Singles Match on AEW Dark against Tay Conti, which sent her to a hospital.
