Brian Cage And WWE Star Lacey Evans Exchanges Words On Twitter

WWE star Lacey Evans and newly signed AEW talent Brian Cage had a bit of a spat recently on Twitter. It started over who does the springboard moonsault better.

Cage sent out a clip of him doing the move. This led to a fan accusing Cage of stealing the move from Evans, who has also used it on television.

Cage responded to the fan;

“was doing it before she new wwf was wwe now.”

The tweet has since been deleted. Notice a problem with the spelling of new vs knew. Evans jumped in and decided to have some fun correcting Cage’s spelling.

Cage later wrote;

“@LaceyEvansWWE I wasn’t going to edit and even almost paid you a compliment. Until I read the rest of your tweet. And my stance remains the same. Still did it years before you(your 4 years in the biz) and I’m also sure you didn’t KNOW it was WWE then [face throwing a kiss emoji]”

Evans fired back and they go back and forth a few times. Even ROH star Flip Gordon gets in on the exchange.

Cage is set to face AEW Champion Jon Moxley at Fyter Fest in July.
