Danny Limelight Says We Have Seen The Last Of Him In AEW For The Foreseeable Future

Danny Limelight is one of the fastest rising stars in all of AEW and he has really proven himself and made a name for himself ever since he made his AEW debut. Limelight made his debut with the promotion on an episode of AEW Dynamite in January, where he teamed with the Varsity Blonds to take on the Good Brothers and the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and despite Limelight coming up on the losing end, he impressed AEW officials and really left his mark.

Speaking of Danny Limelight, he recently made an appearance on the Indy Mayhem Show and revealed that we have seen the last of him in AEW for the foreseeable future and if he decides to return to AEW, he may do so as the door has been kept open for him for a possible return some day. Danny Limelight also said he knows he has a really good relationship with AEW President and CEO Tony Khan and that Khan is an amazing human. Limelight then said that he can still work for NJPW as well as the United Wrestling Network and he can still do his indie dates.

This is what Danny Limelight said:

“I think for the foreseeable future you’ve seen the last of me in AEW.” “The door was kept open for a possible return one day. They spoke very highly of my work ethic and my work. I know I have a really good relationship with Tony Khan. He’s an amazing human. He’s an amazing person to work for. I am still able to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling and I’m still able to work for the United Wrestling Network. I’m still able to do my indie dates.”

Danny Limelight mostly competed on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation against opponents like Jon Moxley and Jungle Boy. It was reported a few weeks ago that Limelight signed a contract with MLW to be a part of Konnan’s new LAX stable.
