Former WWE Superstar Erick Rowan Gets New Ink To Honor Brodie Lee

Erick Redbeard, formerly known as Erick Rowan in WWE, has paid tribute to his former friend and tag team partner Brodie Lee with a new tattoo.

Rowan and the then-named Luke Harper were originally part of the Wyatt Family in WWE. After the Wyatt Family disbanded, Rowan and Harper formed the Bludgeon Brothers, a sledgehammer-wielding team who dominated the tag division.

The tattoo features a hammer and an animal skull, both references to Harper and Rowan’s days as the Bludgeon Brothers. The inscription on the hammer reads “Brodir,” which means “brother” in Old Norse.

Rowan appeared on the December 30 episode of Dynamite to pay tribute to Brodie Lee. Rowan helped chase off the Inner Circle and then celebrated with the Dark Order. He isn’t expected to make any future appearances with AEW.
