On the February 3rd episode of Dynamite, a wedding ceremony segment took place between Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford, where we saw Miro make an appearance as the best man. The wedding ceremony segment was then sabotaged by Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy of Best Friends, which resulted in Sabian trying to attack Taylor, but he accidentally hit Miro instead.
It was reported on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that plans were made to do a follow-up angle after the wedding ceremony segment, but Miro missed AEW Dynamite’s recent TV Tapings, not due to him being injured or sidelined, but due to him being stuck in Nashville, Tennessee because of a winter storm that hit the area.
Because of what transpired in the wedding ceremony, Miro and Kip Sabian are now set to face Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor in a Grudge Match at the Revolution PPV on March 7th.
On a related noted, the report also indicates that Powerhouse Hobbs missed AEW’s recent TV Tapings as well, which is why he didn’t appear with Team Taz on Dynamite. There is no word yet on why Powerhouse Hobbs missed the tapings, but he was reportedly absent not due to any kind of travel issues. If there are any updates, then it will be provided as it becomes available.
