Snoop Dogg Gets Physical On Last Night’s Episode Of Dynamite

Night one of AEW Dynamite‘s New Year’s Smash special saw WWE Hall of Famer and multi-platinum hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg make an appearance, which was previously announced. Snoop first appeared in a short backstage segment that saw him interact and bring beverages to Private Party for the groups’s gin and juice drinks.

Snoop Dogg then later accompanied Cody Rhodes to the ring for Cody’s match against Matt Sydal. During the match, Cody Rhodes accidentally struck Serpentico while being involved in a brawl with Matt Sydal near the barricade. The match would then end with Cody Rhodes hitting Matt Sydal with a couple of his Cross Rhodes finisher to secure the pinfall victory. After the match, Serpentico and Luther attempted to take Cody Rhodes and Matt Sydal out, but Snoop Dogg made his way into the ring, climbed to the top rope and hit a frog splash on Serpentico with Cody Rhodes counting the pin for Snoop.

Snoop Dogg’s appearance on Dynamite was reportedly done to help promote his competition series called The Go-Big Show, which premieres later on tonight, January 7th on TBS at 9PM ET.
