Sting Wrestles And Wins His First AEW Match At Revolution

During All Elite Wrestling’s Revolution PPV last night, pro wrestling legend “The Icon” Sting and TNT Champion Darby Allin faced Team Taz’s Brian Cage and Ricky Starks in a Street Fight, with Darby Allin and “The Icon” Sting picking up the pinfall victory after Sting hit his scorpion death drop finishing move on Ricky Starks. This match was reportedly taped prior to the Revolution PPV and had a cinematic feel to it.

Sting, who is 61 years of age at the moment and turning 62 on March 20th, wrestled for the first time since 2015 when he lost to WWE Star Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions. After receiving a massive buckle bomb at the hands of Rollins, Sting suffered a neck injury and was forced into retirement. The Icon then made his AEW debut this past December, which began his feud with Team Taz.
