Next event to be held March 9 at Saga Club in Erie
Empire State Wrestling is expanding its footprint outside of New York State. ESW acquired Pro Wrestling Rampage – a promotion based in Erie, Penn. With the acquisition, ESW will now operate the wrestling events held at the Saga Club on Washington Avenue in Erie. The first event under the new ownership, Gem City Madness, will be held on Friday, March 9, 2024.
The card for Gem City Madness includes:
*Alex Daniels vs. “A1” Anthony Young vs. Brayden Lee
*Lake Erie Championship: “The Rare Breed” Dakota Orion (c) vs. Delsin Alekzander
*Levi Everett vs. “The Italian Excellence” Cristiano Argento
*”Rockstar” Robby Vegas vs. “The Gashed” Darren Crowe

Doors open at 5 p.m. with bell-time set for 6 p.m. Tickets are on-sale now at bit.ly/PWRTIX including a special online only group package. Tickets will also be available at Actiontoyman soon.

Pro wrestling legends Kevin Nash, X-Pac, The Hurricane, D-Von Dudley, Al Snow, The Honky Tonk Man, Sgt. Slaughter, Raven, Brutus Beefcake, Demolition, Jim Duggan, Koko B. Ware, Bushwacker Luke, The Sandman and Bob Holly appeared at previous ESW events.
Founded in 2002, ESW is run by Brett Stymus. Over half of ESW’s performers reside in the Western New York area. ESW runs regular shows throughout the year that draw several hundred fans, with some events being attended by up to 1,000 people.
