Big Title Match Set For The 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Event

The opening segment of last Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw The Bloodline (Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman) kick off the show with chaos and address the WWE Universe. Reigns talked about the blockbuster Tag Team Match between himself and Sami Zayn vs. John Cena and Kevin Owens and how he and Zayn lost due to The Honorary Uce, which is the first time Roman was involved in a loss in over 3 years.

Roman then asked The Honorary Uce why he called his shot when that is something The Tribal Chief does and if Zayn thinks he can do things better and wanted to take his position. Reigns then continued his bickering with The Honorary Uce and Kevin Owens made his way out. Kevin Owens said The Tribal Chief’s problems is not with Zayn, but with him and Owens challenged Reigns to a match for his Undisputed WWE Universal Title at the 2023 WWE Royal Rumble Event. Reigns then accepted Owens’ challenge for the WWE Royal Rumble Event and Owens said he would see Sami once he is done being the lackey of Roman Reigns.
