Reason Why Kevin Owens Missed Last Friday’s WWE SmackDown

WWE held an episode of SmackDown this past Friday night from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, but top WWE Superstar Kevin Owens did not make an appearance on the show and he will not be appearing on next week’s episode of SmackDown as well, which was taped immediately following last Friday’s show due to the holiday season.

According to Fightful Select, Owens was scheduled to be on both shows, but couldn’t make it due to an unfortunate nightmare travel situation despite his best efforts. It was also noted on the report that Kevin Owens was supposed to be face-to-face with the Bloodline in the main event segment to introduce 16-time World Champion John Cena on the big screen, but had to be written out of the segment since he was unable to make the show.
