Roman Reigns’ Next Match For The WWE Revealed

Reigning Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is considered by many as one of the greatest, if not the greatest WWE Superstar in the modern era, possibly even of all time. Reigns became the WWE Universal Champion at the WWE Payback Event in August 2020 and has held on to the title since. Reigns would then go on to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and hold on to both championships at last year’s WrestleMania 38, when he defeated then-WWE Champion “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar in what was dubbed as “The Greatest WrestleMania Match Of All Time.”

Roman has held the Undisputed WWE Universal Title for over 1,113 days, which is something that hasn’t been done since 1988 and a title reign that is recognized as the fifth-longest reign in the company’s history. Roman has been working a much more reduced schedule since signing a new WWE contract in 2022 and as previously reported, The Tribal Chief is currently not advertised to compete at the 2024 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event on Saturday, January 27th from Tropicana Field in Tampa, Florida, but he could always be added to the show at a later date.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Reigns’ next WWE match will take place on Saturday, November 4th in Saudi Arabia, which means he will return to WWE TV soon leading up to the match as he will be promoting it, but there is no word yet on when Reigns will make his return to WWE TV.

Roman Reigns last competed for WWE at their 2023 SummerSlam Premium Live Event, when he put his title on the line against “Main Event” Jey Uso and he is next scheduled to compete at the 2023 WWE Survivor Series Premium Live Event.
