Unsettling News For LA Knight Fans: No Roman Reigns Rumble Rematch Scheduled

Ladies and Gentlemen, hold on to your hats! You’re not going to like what I have to say. Our beloved Royal Rumble event, set for January 27th 2024 in sunny Tampa, Florida, at the iconic Tropicana Field, might be missing a crucial match every fan was fervently hoping for.

In the world of the WWE Universe, LA Knight has been lighting up the ring and has garnered a massive following. His feud with the Bloodline still bubbling and fans had set their hopes high for a rematch between LA Knight and the Undisputed Universal Champion, Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble. However, these dreams seem to be crashing down.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has peeled back the curtain on match plans and it doesn’t look like a Royal rumble match between Reigns and Knight is on the cards. The question swimming in everyone’s mind right now – why is this legendary clash not happening?

To answer that, friends, it requires a look at Reigns’ recent affairs. The ‘Big Dog’ has been running on a lean schedule since he renewed his contract with WWE. His most recent bout happened at Crown Jewel, where he famously cornered LA Knight, and defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Title. Post that, his appearances dwindled. The last we saw of him on our screens was SummerSlam.

However, it is not merely a whim that’s keeping Reigns away. Knight might be hot property right now, but this absence seems to be a calculated move. Bin those rumours of Reigns appearance at Survivor Series, as he is expected to remain AWOL from TV for the rest of the year.

Reigns’ hiatus may be a disappointment for fans eager to see him, but it’s shaping up to be just the interval that could build immense anticipation for his return. You know what they say, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder.”

So, brace yourselves for the mass frenzy that’s likely to set in once Reigns makes his grand stand at the outset of the Royal Rumble buildup.

Looking behind the scenes, it does not appear that the schedule is due to any bad blood between Knight and Reigns. The industry grapevine suggests that Paul Levesque himself, has a different plan.

As one of WWE’s biggest stars, Reigns’ every movement in the ring sparks significant interest among fans and the WWE Universe. But, for now, fans who’ve been waiting for another shot of LA Knight against Roman Reigns, at the Royal Rumble, may be in for a bit of a letdown.

Although this news stings, we promise to bring more updates, headlines, and surprises right here at Ringside News. Don’t lose heart, stay turned, because you never know what drama will unfold next.
