Erick Rowan Appears On Dynamite, Pays Tribute To Brodie Lee

Last night’s Brodie Lee Tribute episode of Dynamite saw Erick Redbeard (known as Erick Rowan in WWE) make an appearance during a Six-Man Tag Team Match between the Dark Order and the Inner Circle. Erick Rowan made his way down to the ring to help fend off Wardlow after Wardlow went to the ring and tried to interfere on behalf of his team.

“The Demo God” “Le Champion” Chris Jericho, who was on commentary, initially said it was Erick Rowan, but Tony Schiavone quickly corrected him to say it was Erick Redbeard.

Big Red would then hit Wardlow with the Iron Claw Chokeslam and chase MJF’s bodyguard off to the back. Immediately following the win of the Dark Order, Erick Redbeard joined Alex Reynolds, John Silver, and Hangman Page in the middle of the ring to celebrate. Erick Rowan, Brodie Lee’s former tag partner in the Wyatt Family, then held up a sign that read, “Goodbye for now, my brother. See you down the road.”

Rowan’s message actually has a deeper meaning, which he explained in a post on Instagram earlier this week.

This is what Erick Rowan said:

“He would always look forward to getting home to his family. After every loop he would say to me, ‘Goodbye Forever’, because he would want his 1 or two days with them, to feel like forever.”
