Jon Moxley’s Wife Renee Young Diagnosed With COVID-19

For those wondering why AEW World Champion John Moxley stayed home for this week’s AEW Dynamite taping we now know why. His wife, WWE broadcaster Renee Young has been diagnosed With COVID-19.

Young reveled her diaganoses late last night.

“Man. What a few days. My show gets cancelled and I get Covid. Wear your masks and wash your hands. Stay safe, everyone.”

This comes on the heels of a Ryan Satin report that multiple WWE personal came down with the virus.

Dave Meltzer reports that she cleared the WWE testing last week but became sick over the weekend and a Tuesday test revealed she had COVID-19. WWE recently came under fire for not testing their talents when they came to the building. All that changed last week when a performance center talent came down with the virus.

Young’s husband, Jon Moxley was also tested Tuesday. His results came in negative as of now. Meltzer noted that Moxley and Young are staying in different parts of their house but that Young is feeling better.

Jon Moxley is scheduled to defend the AEW Championship on July 8th at Fyter Fest against Brian Cage. This is a fluid situation and things could change. If Moxley were to stay quarantined for two weeks it would put him past the July 8th date.
