Tony Khan Says Matt Hardy Will Be On Wednesday’s Dynamite

It was previously reported that following the scary and devastating incident that top AEW Star Matt Hardy endured at this past Saturday night’s All Out PPV during his match against Inner Circle’s “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara, he was taken to a local medical facility.

It was then reported by Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer that Matt Hardy has been released from the hospital and is said to be doing much better.

Reby Hardy, Matt Hardy’s wife, then said that Matt Hardy stayed overnight for additional imagining to be done after his CT scan and that he definitely had a concussion. Reby also responded to Bryan Alvarez saying, “Funny. Neither I nor Matt have spoken with you.”

AEW President and CEO Tony Khan recently took to Twitter and confirmed that Matt Hardy was indeed released from the hospital and that he will be appearing on Dynamite this Wednesday night, but contradicted to Reby Hardy saying that Matt Hardy had a concussion.

This is what Tony Khan said:

“An update on Matt Hardy: it’s great news! Matt’s ok, we sent him to the hospital as a precaution & he’s passed the MRI + CT scans, he doesn’t have a concussion, and he’s being driven home now. Matt will be at Dynamite on Wednesday night to thank you amazing fans for your support!”
