AEW Women’s Title Tournament Finals Happening At Revolution

Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the winner of the AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament will challenge AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida for her AEW Women’s World Title at next month’s Revolution PPV.

As previously reported, the first round of AEW’s Women’s Title Eliminator Tournament Japanese side of the bracket recently took place with four huge matches, where we saw Yuka Sakazaki defeat Mei Suruga,
Emi Sakura defeat Veny, Ryo Mizunami defeat Maki Itoh and Aja Kong defeat Rin Kadokura.

On the United States side of the bracket, Thunder Rosa beat Leyla Hirsch in First Round action last Wednesday night on Dynamite, while NWA Women’s World Champion Serena Deeb will face Riho during tonight’s Dynamite in a First Round Match. We will also see Tay Conti face Nyla Rose and Dr. Britt Baker face Anna Jay in a First Round Match down the line.

Dave Meltzer also noted that the winner of the Japanese side of the bracket will travel to the United States and face the winner of the United States side of the bracket, which we will see on the March 3 episode of Dynamite. All Elite Wrestling has yet to officially announce when the other matches in the tournament will take place and where they will air, but updates will be given once made available.
